PLATO board members and other philosophers occasionally direct NEH (National Endowment for the Humanities) seminars and institutes in philosophy for high school teachers. These courses are a great way to meet colleagues who share your interest in philosophy. Many of the teachers who have attended these Seminars and Institutes have become very active in pre-college philosophy and some have served on the Board of PLATO.
